Well, I had thought that my transition to Dreamhost had worked out wonderfully, until I tried to comment on one of the pages I moved over. (Internal Server Error!) It seems that something deep in the bowels of MovableType is freaking out, and I can’t figure out what. I changed my mt.cfg, I changed the info in the mt_blog table, but there’s something else that needs updating and I don’t know what it is.
So, until I do know, thing will still be quiet around here. Sorry about that! If I can’t get any of the commenting working, I may have to do something drastic like replacing each of the blogs with WordPress or Typo or something.

Sorry for the continued quietness around here - I’ve switched hosting companies. Caffeine and I have been hosted at LiquidWeb for a long time, and their service was great, but DreamHost had a deal that couldn’t be beat. Their current promotion is three times better than what I had at LiquidWeb: instead of paying $20/month for each of our domains, I can host 3 domains with 2.4GB storage, 120GB transfers/month, and 15 subdomains for $9.95/month. Paying a year in advance cuts out the setup fee, and paying two years cuts the price to $7.95/month.
Best of all, if you go for the annual billing, enter promo code “777″ to pay only a pittance for your first billing. I’m not even going to tell you how good a deal that got me - DreamHost might catch on.
Hopefully things will pick up again around here.
