What is Wrong With These People? Part 246

Okay, admit­tedly I stopped paying atten­tion to the pres­i­den­tial cam­paign months ago when I decided that:

  1. I’m not voting for a Repub­li­can because they’ve gotten every single issue wrong for the last 8 years,
  2. I like both Hillary and Barack, and will sup­port either of them, and 
  3. I don’t really care to hear them tear each other apart.
And it’s prob­a­bly that last part that I’m miss­ing out on. Because now I hear former Hillary sup­port­ers saying that if they can’t have her, they’re going to sup­port McCain/Palin because:
  1. Sarah Palin’s a woman,
  2. Like many women she has children,
  3. They iden­tify with her fem­i­nin­ity and having-​borne-​children-​ness, and
  4. They’re angry about what the Obama camp did
It’s clearly that the last point is what I’m ignorant about. What pos­si­ble thing could Barack’s people have done that would make these Hillary sup­port­ers want to elect a cor­rupt, anti-​choice censor-​wannabe who thinks that rape vic­tims should have to pick up the tab for their own foren­sic exams? Seri­ously, what the hell?

An Open Letter to Democracts, Re: Barack Obama

Dear Democrats,

Please stop whin­ing about how Barack Obama doesn’t have the exact opin­ion or polit­i­cal posi­tion you wanted for any given topic. For the last year, half the time he’s seen his pic­ture it has the word “CHANGE” writ­ten underneath.
