Only the first 30 seconds plays and then it quits. I’ll have to look at it later. I thought Kamen was much older than he looks. He first came to prominence for inventing the ubiquitous IV pump that is used in every hospital and country in the world. He also invented the insulin pump and several other things in the medical field before turning to the Segway. Amazing, isn’t it, that his best known invention, the Segway, has been a flop?
Huh – did you try it on a Mac? :-)
And yes, the guy has done some amazing thing, and yes the most amazing might be that he thought the Segway was a good idea. But his medical stuff will probably secure his legacy, just like the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation might someday erase all those blue screen memories by saving a billion lives.
