So who’s curious how I did on this Asperger’s quiz? Well, take it yourself and let me know how you did in the comments and I’ll post my results. [Via Scalzi]

  6. I was kinda hoping to get some scores out of my wife first - let’s see if she plays along today and I’ll post them this afternoon either way.

  7. Well, it looks like my wife doesn’t want to join in the fun, so I’ll share:

Your Aspie score: 101 of 200
    Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 119 of 200
You seem to have both Aspie and neurotypical traits

    And here’s my graph.

No real surprises, eh? As I’ve said before, Jared comes by it honest.

  9. It’s a test for Aspergers, not a Voight-Kampff. :-)

Of course I question the validity of self-assessments like this in general, and especially for conditions like Aspergers. Aspergerians aren’t exactly well known for self-awareness, so expecting them to know that they’re awkward or different may not work as well as self-assessments for things like ADD or whatever.

But then again, I would disagree about things like that, wouldn’t I?

  10. Your Aspie score: 81 of 200
    Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 138 of 200

  12. Always happier when you’re around, sweetie!

And again, it looks like Jared has every reason to be the kid he is! :-)
