Yesterday’s grill special here at work was an angus patty with pepperjack and ham on a croissant. They called it the “Cind-wich” after Cindy, the lady who runs the grill. I call it the “Rosh Hashanah Special.” It’s the perfect thing to serve when all of the observant Jews have stayed home.

And luckily, they had it again today: delicious.

  1. Wow, it could almost make me wish I worked there again.

Okay, not really, but it does sound yummy.

  2. Let’s not get carried away - it was just a burger.

Pretty well cooked, mind you, and the croissant was actually better than I thought it would be. But in exchange for the decent burger, I had to listen to two idiots talking about how much the Iraqis wanted us to stay. Blech.

  3. Anything with the name “Cindy” in it is like the plague to me. Damn you, Cindies of the world!

  4. But they do make a tasty burger! Maybe she should go for a Hawaiian burger next. You mind if I have some of your tasty beverage to wash this down with?
