So I was read­ing the latest David Sedaris essay in the New Yorker, and I was think­ing about how amaz­ingly honest David can be when he’s talk­ing about some­thing uncom­fort­able or embar­rass­ing and still make the whole thing so funny….

  1. I’ve read a few of his books and heard him on the radio sev­eral times. One of my favorites is about his con­fu­sion about the gram­mar of the French lan­guage. I split my sides laugh­ing as he read it on the radio. He’s even fun­nier talk­ing than he is writ­ing.

  2. They replayed a radio essay he did years ago this past Christ­mas about being an Elf at some depart­ment store in New York that had me laugh­ing so hard I almost had to pull over the car. Kellie got me some of his essays for Christ­mas, but you can never get enough David Sedaris.
