Keith Martin finds a way to make sense of Star Wars by making R2 and Chewie secret agents. (via kottke)

I read a different explanation a few years about about how Obi-Wan and Darth Vader are working to “bring balance to the force” by killing off all of the other Jedi which didn’t require as much guesswork, but this is good too..

  1. Both explanations are better than the charge I read several years ago that R2-D2 and C3PO are gay robots and hence the Star Wars movies should be boycotted. I never did figure out how robots could be gay. Did they choose to be gay? Or were they manufactured gay? I took it so seriously that I made sure you saw all three of the movies.

  2. I don’t care if robots are gay, as long as they don’t go around making a big thing about it. The last thing I need is another darned parade of gay robots on my street. Robo Sapiens? More like Homo… wait. Romo? Hobo? Never mind.
