Dear Google Reader,

I love you, you’re beautiful, I’ve learned to live with your quirks, but do me two favors:

  1. Learn to sort ASC and DESC, wouldja? Reading by date from newest to oldest makes a lot of blog posts confusing. “Remember that site I linked to yesterday?” Nope – not yet! Reader won’t let me see it!
  2. I already read This guy has had enough of the pre-exit receipt checking at Best Buy on kottke. Three days ago. Please stop showing it to me.

The whole “you can never get rid of this post, for you have not appreciated its beauty fully” thing is annoying, mostly because it’s happened 3 times with 3 different posts on 3 different blogs. And no, it’s not being updated, and no, there’s nothing funny with Jason’s feed. I get it – he didn’t like that hassle with the yellow-shirt guy at Best Buy. None of us do. Let. It. Go.

Thanks!

Jemal Cole
