Lots to say

The thing is, I have a lot to say.

My brother is getting married, my son is doing wonderfully, my wife has a cool car, my job is looking to be a lot of fun, and it turns out that my company is the kind of place that buys the good toilet paper. So things are going pretty well.

And I’ve found a lot of neat things on the web that I think you all would like. I’ve thought of how I want to redesign my site (since I’m still not happy with it). And I’ve got a list of different web sites that I’d like to comment on.

But there’s something that’s keeping me from posting about any of it.

Because of what I used to do for a living, I feel obligated to say something about all of the things that have been going on in Iraq. I feel like I have to have something to say, and that I have to put the time into writing just the right sort of thing. But every time I think about it I can feel my head getting light and slippery.

I can’t even claim to understand what’s going on. But until I get my head wrapped around this issue, I don’t feel like I can say anything else.

So I don’t know when this blog will get back on track.
