I told some people that I’d post a link to the current unpleasantness surrounding Janet Jackson’s nipple. Let me add that I don’t really understand the fuss - there are very few children who make it past the age of one hour without seeing a breast. This being the case, what’s the big deal? We’ve all seen them. Heck, half the population has them.
At work I mentioned that the current flap reminds me of Ashcroft’s taking issue with breast exposure, and that the whole thing makes me think that the Bush administration is against breasts. Some crusty old man piped up that he’d like to be against breasts, but judging from his hygiene, I don’t see it happening.
